Nature-based Solutions (NbS) are increasingly recognised as a critical component of long-term climate resilience, environmental restoration, and sustainable economic development. By working with natural ecosystems rather than against them, NbS help address climate, biodiversity, land-use, and community challenges through scalable and environmentally grounded approaches.
At Noblesse Green, we view natural capital as more than environmental preservation. We see it as long-term climate infrastructure capable of supporting ecological resilience, community-centred development, and institutional climate investment across Africa.

NGE is currently leading the development of the Ago-Owu Forest Restoration Platform (AFRP) in Osun State, Nigeria, a large-scale forest restoration and natural capital initiative aligned with Nigeria’s emerging carbon market architecture under the National Council on Climate Change (NCCC), with additional ecosystem restoration initiatives under development, including mangrove restoration activities in Cross River State.
Through collaboration with governments, local communities, technical partners, and development finance stakeholders, NGE advances scalable, governance-led climate infrastructure that supports long-term environmental and climate investment.
As global climate finance continues to evolve, NbS and natural capital platforms are increasingly integrated into broader climate-readiness, resilience, and institutional investment frameworks.
