Femi Dosumu holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a Master’s Degree in Project Management with a speciality in Construction and Infrastructure from the University of Liverpool, UK. He also attended the University of Cambridge Executive Programme, Business and Climate Change, Towards Net Zero Emissions, with distinction in Innovation and Design for a Net Zero 21st Century Module.
He has worked for about four decades in the Nigerian economy's construction, oil and gas, and other sectors, where he was exposed to emerging and leading-edge technologies. He is a fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE), the Nigeria Academy of Engineering (FAEng) and other professional bodies. He is a registered engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, COREN. He is also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators. He was listed as one of Nigeria's 50 most distinguished engineers by the Tribune Newspapers in 2007 and as one of the 50 most distinguished Nigerians by the Guardian Newspapers in 2015. He was also honoured with the NSE Presidential Awards in 2014 and 2015 for his outstanding contributions to NSE and engineering.
Femi has delivered papers at several events, including the 2015 COREN Assembly (an annual Nigeria Engineering Family meeting) and the 2001 Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) Annual Conference. He also delivered the 2007 Annual Lecture at the Good Samaritan Society of America Annual Dinner in Minneapolis, MN, USA. He is Floreben Nigeria Limited's Managing Director and Realty Point Limited's Chairman. He is also a director of NSE Ventures Limited, Technology Distributions Limited, Nigeria America Palm Oil Production Limited, Heritage Orphanage Home, and other non-profit organisations.

Throughout his career, Olu has worked for leading banking institutions, including Deutsche Bank in London, Credit Suisse in Zurich, ABN AMRO in London and Amsterdam, JP Morgan in London, and Citibank. During this time, he developed and implemented complex, high-value contract strategies, set smart objectives, and led transformational change management initiatives.
In an era of disruptive innovation, Olu has transitioned from banking to become a passionate expert in sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance). Olu is an alumnus of the University of Cambridge, having completed the Executive Management Programme in ESG leadership skills for green transition to sustainable business at Judge Business School (CJBS). He holds a bachelor's degree in Global Business Management from Bournemouth University and a master’s in business administration (MBA) from the University of Sunderland (UOS). An accomplished Professor of Soil Science with a speciality in soil microbiology and an honours degree in crop science, PhD in soil microbiology from the University of Ibadan in 1981. She has over 40+ years of experience in academia, research, and national/governmental service. Adept at blending theoretical knowledge with hands-on fieldwork to deliver comprehensive education; Recognized and decorated for notable achievements, awards, and successful research. Projects and publications: Demonstrated expertise in conducting groundbreaking research on soil fertility, conservation, and sustainable agriculture practices, contributing to the advancements in the field. Additionally, she served on national committees and advisory boards related to soil and crop science, providing expert insights and guidance on policy development and implementation. Professor Solomon is committed to fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and community engagement to address contemporary soil and crop science challenges. Prof. Solomon is a lecturer in the Department of Soil Science, University of Calabar. She is an astute consultant in Environmental Microbiology for several projects, such as the Trans-Niger Delta Oil pipeline from Rumuekpe to Bonu in Rivers State and Environmental Baseline Studies for oil fields commissioned by Shell Development Company of Nigeria in 2014. She is a Consultant to the Cross River State and NIPC projects and the Federal government on some agricultural projects for commercial crop production and export (1999-2017). She has also served as a Consultant to the U. S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Nigeria – Sustainable Practices in Agriculture for Critical Environments (SPACE), 2019. Her contributions in the field of microbiology concerning water, soil and air are recognised in the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria.
Ambassador Ayoola Olukanni is a career Nigerian Diplomat with over 35 years of experience in the Nigerian Diplomatic service. While serving in Vienna, he was appointed Ambassador in February 2011 and subsequently posted as High Commissioner in Australia with concurrent accreditation to New Zealand, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, and Vanuatu. Ambassador Olukanni oversaw IAEA, UNIDO, UNCITRAL, UNODC, and the International Renewable Energy Agency as Ag. Permanent Representative to the UN Office in Vienna.
He also worked in the Nigerian Embassy in Belgium, the European Commission, and the United Nations in New York. Ambassador Olukanni was Ag. High Commissioner and Permanent Representative to UNEP and UN-HABITAT in Kenya from 2003 to 2007. He attended UNEP Governing Council meetings on climate change, biodiversity, desertification, land degradation, and strategic approach to international chemicals as Vice President of the Fight Against Desert Encroachment and Associate Member of the Nigerian Montane Forest Project.
Ambassador Olukanni, who is passionate about climate change and sustainability, worked assiduously on environmental and sustainable development issues at the Nigeria Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York. During his four-year tenure as Director General at the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), the diplomatic Don and former Director General developed measures to attract and stimulate Foreign Direct Investment in Nigeria through Chambers of Commerce. He also promoted green energy and sustainable development in Nigerian SMEs in agriculture, mining, and energy.
Edu holds a Bachelor of Agriculture in Forestry and Wildlife Management from the University of Uyo, Nigeria, and a Masters in Conservation Biology from the A.P Leventis Ornithological Research Institute, University of Jos, Nigeria. With a PhD in Forest Ecology from Lund University, Sweden, Edu has over 27 years of experience in natural resource management and sustainability science. She is highly experienced in environmental project management, particularly climate-resilient initiatives that integrate the human dimensions of energy, food and water security with biodiversity conservation. Dr Effiom is the Pioneer State Coordinator for REDD+ (Reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation) in Nigeria. She led the formulation of the first REDD+ Strategy and the Cross River State Forest Policy while serving as the Director of Forestry/Head of the Forest Business Development Department.
Her research interest is providing novel and persuasive scientific evidence for the consequences of human activities on the tropical rainforest biodiversity. Her studies are among the first studies from the African continent and some of the best examples globally. Notably, her study published in the prestigious international journal - Proceedings of the Royal Society B (Effiom, E. et al., 2013, Proc.Roy.Soc.B, 280: 1759), was featured as a Research Highlight in the world-leading journal Nature, Vol. 495: 28 March 2013 - a recognition given to very few studies indeed - and received considerable international media attention. She is a member of the Advisory Committee of ForestLAB, a research Hub of the University of Stirling, UK. She is a research associate of the Biodiversity Unit, Department of Biology, Lund University.
An expert in the Science-Policy interface, Dr Effiom served as a lead author for IPBES (Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services) for the Africa regional assessment and currently serves as a member of the IPBES Capacity Building task force. She also serves as the Lead Focal point on Climate Programs for the Cross River State Government. She strives to advance nature-based solutions in climate-resilient public and private policies and strategies to achieve eco-friendly, sustainable, livelihood-oriented development.
Mr Emmanuel Onokpasa is a seasoned financial services practitioner with over two decades of experience in banking, asset management and consulting. His expertise includes operating multi-currency balance sheets, foreign exchange risk hedges and products, fixed-income securities, structured trade and finance, capital and debt raising, international trade and wholesale banking.
Onokpasa, is an Executive Director at Nova Merchant Bank. Before joining the bank, he served as Group Treasurer Head of International Banking and Structured Finance in leading banks, including United Bank of Africa and Diamond Bank. He has extensive experience formulating business strategies and developing businesses across African markets and the United Kingdom across industries such as agriculture, aviation, FMCG, manufacturing, oil and gas, telecoms, trading and real estate.
